What a busy week this has been, filled with learning and activities. Its been a week where we have worked to celebrate what makes each child unique so they know God loves them no matter what. Each day, these children learned about the love and protection of our Heavenly Father. They understand that all of us at one point or another in our childhood, even as adults, have felt left out, unimportant and maybe just plain WEIRD. It is our hope the children and adults felt encouraged to trust in Jesus, and know Jesus’ love is one-of-a-kind for all of us. While the week is officially over, the laughter of children still rings throughout the halls of our building. It is from the bottom of our hearts that we thank everyone who participated in VBS, and to the many volunteers who helped make VBS possible. Thanks to you, these children didn’t just hear about God’s love; they saw it, touched it, sang it, tasted it, and put it into action.
